My SITS Day wrap-up
Yesterday was my SITS Day. It was an adventure I won’t forget. I had 133 unique visitors who looked at an average of four blogs or pages on my site. Most of the visitors were from the United States but I also had visitors from Canada, Jamaica, South Africa, Malaysia, Australia, Brazil, and the United Kingdom. The WordPress Stats update is so interesting. Most of my hits were from my Sistahs from SITS. A few from Facebook and a few from internet searches.
The free download of The Mindstalker ended with 301 downloads. That’s a lot of traffic. If a tenth of those people read the book, I will have 30 people who have read my first novel. It’s a start. I’m so excited. I hope all the readers will review the book. Comments will help me be a better writer.
The day started with me up early because the weather had been dicey the day before and I wanted to have extra time to drive into school. Driving into the school would have been bad. Sorry, I need some sleep. Bad joke.
The comments by the Sistahs were so positive. I answered all of them and visited many websites. Tomorrow through Saturday, I plan on getting to all the websites. I only subscribed to follow two sites, but I will do more on Saturday. I enjoyed the writers who said they were inspired and felt more worthy. Our society is too good at dragging people down. SITS definitely helps people up.
I had a guest post request and am hoping to get some more. Not that I don’t like to write my posts, but I need to do more to connect to the community of bloggers.
I need to get to some writing and some sack time. For all my visitors yesterday, today, and the future–thanks for the adventure.
